From 7 September 2008 onwards,
this website, Toxic Waste, assumes that you have a minimum screen resolution of 1024×768 pixels.
I will not make formatting concessions for smaller size settings any more.
So, if you're still
on 800×600, it's time you got with modern times and increased it anyway.
Either that, or buy a larger monitor.
To change your screen resolution permanently in Windows, follow these simple steps:
Click Start, Settings, and then Control Panel.
Find the Display icon
and double-click it.
Click the Settings tab.
Find the resolution slider
and pick 1024×768 or higher. For LCD monitors, you should choose the screen's native
resolution for best results. Click OK.
Click OK or Yes when
the confirmation panel appears.
Text will look impossibly
small, but you'll get used to it. A handy option is
to find the Font Size settings for buttons and select Large Fonts.

Hammer's raunchy prehistoric
opus When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth (1970) is finally out in its uncut UK version after
languishing on home video in the shorter US assembly. Released by Warner Bros, the US DVD
comes as a double-bill with Moon Zero Two.
In other news, there's a longer, more graphic version
of Hitchcock's Psycho out in Germany, which apparently suffered trims before
it terrified audiences in 1960. Mother would be most pleased.
Pasolini's notorious 1970s art film
Salo has been banned again by the OFLC. Click here to read more about it. A totally fucked decision. Is this the beginning
of the end for our current honeymoon period for non-porn titles? As RC mentions, there's been a spate of
bans in recent months in different media. It just goes to show: never become complacent.
Visit Refused Classification,
Libertus, and Somebody Think of
the Children! for more Aussie censorship news.
